The world is filled with ugliness; but it’s what’s within us that truely counts. ‘Wonder’ is an emotionally raw movie that will open audiences up to all perspectives. Auggie Pullman, a young boy with facial differences, starts mainstream school for the first time, and a light is shone on the lives of those who surround him. A gratifying combination of comedy, kindness, courage and hateful ignorance. Sweet from start to end, a superb cast lifts an already great story. Surprising dimensions to this film have us looking beyond the surface, and tells the story from all sides. “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
